Overview

Our tour of the East side of the Island begins with a drive through George Town, the Island’s capital and major financial center. We continue along through the coastal residential district of South Sound with its fabulous homes to arrive at Pedro St. James, Pedro Castle [as it is affectionately named] is a refurbished plantation home built in 1780, which boasts a multimedia theatre presentation that explains the history of the Island and the house itself. It is the birthplace of democracy and a national historic site and after Cayman Blue Iguana. The tour continues to Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. The tour continues at the Botanic Park to view the colorful Caymanian flora. The now endangered Cayman parrots are a part of the variety of native and migratory aquatic birds and animals you will find while strolling the nature walk and natural wetland. While you are there don’t forget to see one of the main features of the park which is the endangered Cayman Blue Iguana. While traveling through the district of East End, stop at the blow holes and take memorable photos and enjoy the scene.
